everytime.
Set List
Say Something
This was there only official gig in Sydney (all other concerts they supported
the best Aussie band out The Screaming Jet. How many people get to say they saw
they 2 favourite bands in the entire world in the one concert and they were both
fantastic!!!.)
The Iron Duke Hotel where they played there last Sydney gig at was small so I
was there early to get a great position. Front row and smack bang in the middle
and that is where I stayed all night with two other girls who were from Canada.
They were saying how different the concerts they did over here were because they
are not as well known in Australia as they are in the home country so the
concerts are not as big so you can get a lot closer to watch them all at there
very best!.
Supporting them was another great Aussie band called Muzzy Pep. WM were due on
stage at 9.30 the hotel was packed and then at 10.00 they came out and started
with a fab rendition of Say. It was stifling hot in the pub so Joey passed
around a bottle of alcohol which was well received. There was a very loud and
very drunk guy to the left of Joey who kept on yelling out stuff and dancing
around making the guys crack up. As Daniel did his wonderful solo he had to
stop singing at one point cause he was laughing so much. Ken was at his usual
best playing up on stage and to the crowd so to were Joey and Sammy they were
all just fantastic.
As Silent Radar is there only CD released there in Australia when they came out
for there encore with a very loud and rocking version of Stereo it was
fantastic. Everyone seemed to be having a great time - band and fans included.
After they finished there set a few of us hung around to meet them all ( I had
only meet Ken the 2 previous times - not that you hear me complaining!! He was
selling the promo gear so I had a nice chat to him both times and he is lovely,
they all are). I got my CD signed and the set list which I have listed below.
The gig was great and the guys were fantastic and I cant wait for them to tour
again!
