  • The Dixie Chicks' second album Fly doesn't officially hit stores until August 31, but the cd cover art is already raising some eyebrows. No, it's not because these three beautiful blondes, well-known for their expect-the-unexpected style, have gone and done something, well, unexpected. The abstract lettering in the title is not the work of a painter, nor is it computer-generated; instead, the artwork is made up of one of the most amazing works of nature. All of the letters in F-L-Y are actually photographs of real butterfly wings taken by renowned nature photographer Kjell B. Sandved. His published collection of letters and numerals are included in "The Butterfly Alphabet," and all of the insects were photographed without being caught or killed. 8/25/99 http://www.prnewswire.com SOURCE: Sony Music Nashville
