Marie's name is really Gun-Marie, but she always hated it and asked her parents how they could give her such a terrible name. She wanted to change her name to Michelle. When she went to college she dropped the 'Gun' and began calling herself just 'Marie' instead.

Marie used to smoke cigarettes, until she became pregnant. She tried to give up a few times before that. She still smokes sometimes at parties.

Marie is allergic to a cough syrup called 'Noskapin.'

According to Per, Marie has a bad memory!

Her idol is Joni Mitchell.
