a)      Position the tank so that it gets 2 hrs sunlight + (6 hours tubelight or 6 hrs bright indirect light) OR no natural light and 10hrs tubelight only. This is necessary if natuural aquatic plants are used.

b)      Make sure that the the table base is not less than 2 feet from the ground level and not higher than 3 feet from ground level to facilitate viewing & maintainance.

c)      Ensure that the table does not shake or vibrate by levelling the legs with layers of foamed black polyethylene or other compressible cushioning.
