a)
Wash the aquarium tank with a mild solution of Pottasium Permanganate inside. DO NOT AT ANY TIME USE SOAP. b) Positon the tank on the table and ensure it is level and does not shake. If necessary use Black foamed Polyethylene to level the tank also. c) Wash the 12kg Pea sized sand. Place 2kg at a time in a small container under running water. Keep stirring continuously till the water runs clear. Repeat at 2kg per batch. d) Put the sand in the aquarium about 1 1/2" thick at the back & sides and about 1/2" thick in the center front. This will facilitate cleaning later. e) Add some medium sized rocks, stones, etc for beauty. Avoid sharp objects. |
