Michigan Land Use Institute Releases Case Studies.

PROPOSED BILL (HB 4803 H-2) SOLVES NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS!

The Michigan Land Use Institute, Clean Water Action, League of Women Voters of Michigan, Michigan Environmental Council, Michigan Drain Code Coalition, and  Taxpayers United, Inc. cooperated to write and research these examples of problems with the current drain code.  Beside each case study is a definition of the problem and answers describing the legislation that is needed to correct the problem.  Click on each title to read the whole story. Unfortunately, the needed corrective legislation was not passed by the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.
