Well... Anna Kournikova battled, hit more winners, had chances in both sets against Lindsay Davenport, but eventually she lost. Davenport, seeded 2nd, held her game together at the crucial stages and proceeded into the quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-3 victory. -_-
