" One True Thing "
There is always something that will dampen our spirits, bring us down, make us
lose our belief in ourselves. This is reality, this is life. But there is
one
thing that we should never lose despite the setbacks and the frustrations-
it's our faith in God.
I 'am trying to make sense out of the things that are happening around us
and problems that beset us. Somehow we just lose ourselves in all these.
Yes, we all always caught in situations we can't control. Sometimes, we
are
mere pawns waiting for someone to move us, caught in our own little square.
But then again, even as pawns as feel our own little power just as soon as
brighter days come and we are moved, whether by opportunity or accident.
Sometimes, we don't know where to go. These are times when we crawl back into
our shells asking ourselves where we should go, and heal our wounds. And when
we are trapped in our shells, who do we tuned to? God. Prayers make heal
faster, make our spirits alive once again, making us come out of our shells
as improved individuals.
In times of depression, a lot of people think that there is no hope . .but
even in the worst situations, beautiful things can happen. One of these things
is that we become closer to God.
People say it in different ways: How can one know the beauty of the rainbow
without seeing the rain? How can one feel happiness when one has not been sad?
How can one be truly complete when he does not know how it feels to be
incomplete
Yes, it is true that one has to experience the downside to fully appreciate
the upside.
When the situation is getting worst, we sometimes forget our dreams and
ambitions. Let us not lose faith in what we believe in, because they give
us
strength to go on. They are Always there to make us feel better. And for every
dark path we take, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. After
every nighttime comes the dawn which will create new life.
Let us not lose hope and faith- they are limitless and boundless like God.
All things change but one that never does is the love of God. So even if we are
down and we feel that we are out of touch with the things that are happening
around us, we know that there will always be Him to turn to.
In times of trouble, they say that true friends will be there to see you
through the bad times. And even if you should feel that you are indeed alone,
or when you try to engulf yourself in loneliness, there is always one friend
who will be there for you, and that is God.
So when everything goes wrong, do not forget that your faith in God will keep
you going, Even if you are a pawn in your own little square, God will be the
hand to move you and guide you where you need to go.

Lord, trails come our way.
Problems face us every day.
Sometimes, we lose ourselves
in the confusion.
Sometimes, we lose track of the road.
Sometimes, we lose our friends and loved
ones through the darkness,
But let us not lose faith in You.
The Faith that will give us strength
to find you
.
