- To be effective with Jin you must be able to combo his supers. Be able to pull off S.Short, S.Fierce, Blodia Vulcan is critical if you want to win on a critical basis.
- Jin's Great Cyclone is an extremely effective super against those opponent who jump in often. As long as they are with the range of the Cyclone they will get hit by it, blocking overhead will do them no good.
- The Saotome Crush has to be one of the coolest moves in the game. Use it when you see your opponents guard is down.
- When Jin glows yellow he can no longer be launched. Keep this in mind when you get into the end of a close game. It may be time to go offensive. However you can be launched if the launcher is not the first hit.
- The Blodia Punch and Blodia Vulcan do poor chipping damage, keep this in mind when you are trying to finish a game. In other words, make sure they connect. On a side note, both leave Jin safe during there time period. However the better players see the super coming and super jump avoiding the super completely.
