Wolverine
To sum it up:
No skill required.
Background
No one knows exactly how old Wolverine is because his healing factor has prevented him from aging as a normal person would. However, some of his history is known. In 1941, Wolverine and Captain America fought Nazis in Madripoor. He was a corporal in the Canadian Military and trained soldiers. He was also a paratrooper in the Normandy invasion of 1944. In the 60s, Wolverine served as a CIA operative with Sabretooth and Maverick.
He later moved to the Canadian Intelligence Agency were he was stationed in Asia. During the Weapon X project, his bones were laced with unbreakable adamantium. Wolverine has been a part of the X-Men for quite some time. He has taken time off to collect himself in the past, though. One of these times was after Magneto stole the adamantium from his bones in Avalon. Currently, he is co-leader of the X-Men with Storm. He also has been taking some serious thrashing at the hands of a new adamantium-laced Sabretooth. The bone claws just aren't enough for him to get by now, so he must rely upon his wits and cunning as well as his mutant healing factor and heightened senses. At the moment, he might be thinking of getting his adamantium back, but only time will tell if this truly happens.

Strategy/Comments
- Wolverine players tend to throw often. Wolverine has to be among the top 3 in throw range out of all the characters. Learn to tech hit. It will be necessary to survive the cheapness.
- Wolverine has the speed and claw range to keep the pressure constantly of his opponent. It seems as if, all random button mashing on the ground combos into a Berserker Barrage X.
- Wolverine's combos starting with Headstomp, roundhouse are almost impossible to counter.
- Wolverine has trouble against keepaway characters (ex. Gambit and Morrigan), and those with good range (such as Venom and Cap America), meaning they can attack from a distance.
- 95% of Wolverine players fall into one or both of the following characterizations: beginners, or unskilled button mashing cheapos. The second form is quite annoying. All they know how to do is headstomp, throw and pound the buttons comboing into a Berserker Barrage X.
- Moves like the Kikosho and the Great Cyclone are great for countering Wolverine once he has committed to his Headstomp motion.
- For someone trained by Ogun, his attacks lack the style of a true martial arts master. Hopefully, the next time he is in a game, they will reflect his comic book attack style.
- The Fatal Claw has no business in the game, he doesn't have it in the comics. Hopefully it will be replaced with the Fastball Special in the future. For those of you who didn't know, it is when Colossus hurls Wolverine at an enemy. His Supers should be Healing Factor, Fastball Special, and Weapon X. The others need to be dropped.
