The 1 1/4-inch wide non-roll web is so comfortable. It includes an attached seam allowance just like decorative cording that allows for easy application. As you pin your waistband to the top edge of your pants, also pin the waistband interfacing right on top of it, with the woven-in pink line nearest the top of the pants. Do not stretch it out as you sew it. The elastic is only for comfort. The pink line is the stitching line. Stitch the waistband and interfacing at the same time.
