CONDOM NATION

THE BAND HISTORY

The Band started around late summer of 1996, Ryan came to park city when he was 12, and he was in school and was at jazz band tryouts,
he wanted to play the drums, he played and there was no compition until the big balboski Trevor walked through the door. Everyone was amazed
on how well he could drum, Ryan said, "Hey I play bass and I just moved here and I want to start a band, wanna play?" Trevor said yes, but then there was
another kid at the jazz band tryouts named Nick Nelson, he said hey guys I play guitar, need a guitar player? Yeah ok, but he wasn't very good, so Ryan had
to teach him a lot before he knew how to play, they played about three shows, then nick got sick of the whole thing twords the summer time. Then over the phone,
Ryan meet a Kid Named Ed (currently guitar player for Just Add Water) and asked if he wanted to start a band. He said sure, so we did, they played a little bit
of heavy metal, but then they toke a break and watched some MTV. They saw a ska band called The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, They said wow, we should play this kind
of stuff, so we called our friends that played trumpet, we got Clint (Currently trumpetplayer for Just Add Water.) But then he bailed and got sick and they don't
know what the hell happened to him, so they got two more trumpet players, Joey Malone and Ben Klinginstein which by the way they are very talented. But when all came
good, Ed had to go on a trip with the boy scouts, so then he brought his friend Jesse here even though he would be there for a short time. He was a very talented guitar
player and he still tries to play with Condom Nation whenever he can, they're all close friends. Jesse was the founder of the name Stapler, they had a couple shows in Park
City then everyone left, it was a summer thing that Ryan and Trevor reilized when everyone left. What were they to do? Trevor found a friend of his that could play the bass,
his name was Nick Beiber, when they got him they changed their style to metal/punk type stuff, it was really wierd, that's when Ryan swiched over to guitar, he agreed to stick
to this band until the talent show was over or until he got sick of it. Finally they played one show, then Nick spilt two weeks before our first big show in front of 50 to 100
people in Park City, by the hands of god, Trevor and Nick found someone to replace Nick, his name was britt, he figured out the punk ethic really fast concidering that they had
gig in two weeks, they worked very hard to get to where they are at. Today Condom Nation says that, that was their best show ever. They dropped the name stapler on March 13, 1999.
