Who is this mysterious character you say? This is the warrior of time, the keeper of the Time Gate and the princess of the distant planet, Pluto. She is Sailor Pluto. She first appears as a mysterious Sailor Senshi character in the Sailor Moon R series. She appears in a little blue beamed ball, a hologram in the house of Usagi, while ChibiUsa is sleeping. She warns the Inner Senshi that ChibiUsa needed reassurance. She appeared briefly though. When I mean brief, I MEAN BRIEF. She really didn't appear much in the R series. The appeared a few episodes later and let the Inners go through the Time Gate to rescue ChibiUsa. Then a few episodes after that, she tells them to go back to the past to save ChibiUsa who was proclaimed to be Black Lady. All in all, she appears in three to four episodes, playing a minor, yet mysterious role in the R series. Not only does she appear briefly in the R series, she also appears briefly on the S, SuperS and the Stars series. But as those series come, we learn more about Sailor Pluto's identity. Her name, Setsuna Meioh is revealed. And she transforms in the S series right in front of the Inner Senshi and Eudial. It is also revealed that she was working with Haruka and Michiru, and she went to their very same high school. In the S series, most of her basic information is revealed. Then on the SuperS and Stars Series, she is more focused on their missions, and help the Senshi out. Things pick up for Setsuna in the Stars series. First off, she gains new and improved powers from baby Hotaru (Sailor Saturn). In fact in battle, one of Queen Neherenia's monsters try to attack Hotaru and Hotaru kills the monster, giving a new profound power to the three Outers (Neptune, Uranus and Pluto). And she goes off with some more missions with the Inners as well as the Outers after that. Then in episode 197, when Sailor Neptune was "brainwashed" by Galaxia, Galaxia broke Sailor Pluto's Time Staff and Neptune sadly kills her. But later in the final episode of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon, she is revived from the dead along with all the other Senshi who have died by Sailor Moon. Then in the end, the Outers sit on Haruka's car and look up at the stars. Then the Outers and Inners decide to go their own seperate ways. A very touchy ending.
