Almira Delight Northup, (Alma) was born March 29, 1874; Liberty, Dakota County, Ne; the 2nd of 10 chidren to Benson Leonidas Northup, Sr. and Florell Eleanor CURTIS. She married Will Walker; Dec 19, 1893 at Houghton, Washington. She died July, 1895, Seattle, Washington.

Although Almira was known as Alma, her real name, Almira Delight comes from her two Grandmothers, Almira (Cleveland) Northup and Sophia Delight (Williams) Curtis. Myrtle (Anderson) Northup, daughter-in-law of Myrtle Anderson and Benson L. Northup, Jr. lived with her for some years, and has this information first hand.
