Well, "Puddles" is finally on the road and the web site is up and running. We have been having a lot of fun driving around Lincoln, NE in the Sprite - you get a lot of looks around here when you are driving a tiny red convertible with a funny message plate and incredibly loud exhaust (header / glasspack). Women seem to smile and point a lot ; guys generally just rubber-neck, but are far more likely to follow you into a parking lot to discuss the car. It's quite interesting to note the various reactions you get. One woman almost drove her brand-new Corvette into a curb, looking at "Puddles". I guess this must be why we like them so much - Sprites are definitely attention-getters - it certainly isn't for comfort or luxury.

I have always like to drive something fairly unique. To me, cars like Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, etc. are like ass-holes - everybody has one. When I was in high-school, I owned two identical (except for color) 1950 Buick Specials, a 1963 Ford Falcon convertible (factory V-8 4-speed), and a 1967 Galaxie XL that turned 13 second quarter miles. I have also owned a 1967 427 Fairlane race-car, and a 454 c.i. Chevy Monza (a wild ride). Although I enjoyed all of these cars immensely, none of these cars ever gave me more pleasure than I get from puttering about in the Sprite
