- The PDLJMPR Web Magazine site had over 1900 visitors from March 17 to
May 05, 1996, about 39 per day on average - I'm very happy! The URLs for the
PDLJMPR site were submitted to Web Crawler, Yahoo, & Lycos search engines
around March 15, and were searchable in all by April 15, 1996. This site can be
found when searching keywords such as Austin Healey, Healey, Sprite, PDLJMPR, or
any combination of these words as well as a few others. The number of visitors
per day has doubled during the last 30 days, apparently due to being listed with
the search engines.
- The free classifieds section has elicited significant response from PDLJMPR
site visitors and the listing has grown quite large. I have, and will continue
updating the classifieds daily (unless I am out of town). Please e-mail me if
you have sold your cars or parts, or have bought what you need, so I can keep
the ads current.
- Feedback received in March can now be viewed in the April back-issue.
Feedback received after April 1 appears in this (May) issue and will be updated
as I receive it. When the next issue comes out (June, I hope), I will group the
feedback messages associated with each particular issue.
- I am a little disappointed in the number of owners wanting to have photos
of their cars (with text) placed in the "Sprites of the World Wide Web"
section. Certainly, there are more Sprite owners out there that are proud of
their cars! I even offered to scan the photos - what's the problem?
- I did not have any submissions for the "Sprite Hall of Fame Section"
so I will continue to re-run Mike Larzarowicz's concours bugeye in this spot
until another suitable car to feature is found. Please help me out in finding
new outstanding Sprites for this section.
- No one could tell me who owned the mystery car, but it's a pretty neat
looking Sprite so I will keep it in place another month. Also, I could try to
help past owners find where their old Sprite is with this section - tell me what
you would like to do with this.
- I need to find another vintage racer to feature next month - volunteers?
- The technical information section has also been quite popular, but
submissions are tapering off. We need more! A special thanks goes to Frank
Clarici for the many articles he has contributed.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
