Hi Stacey, I just wanted to write and tell you how amazing Elmo (Henry) was...He definitely made the party! I was a little worried that Marin and the others may be afraid of him but that was not the case. She and the others could not get enough of him. She spent most of the hour in his lap and was just staring at him in amazement. It was so much fun to watch the little ones flock around him. I think some of the older kids even tried to follow him out to his car. My only regret came after reviewing all of our pictures. I was hoping to have a picture to frame of Marin and her idol Elmo. Unfortunately of all of the photos that we took we didn't end up with a single picture of Marin alone with Elmo. It was impossible to keep the other kids away! Stacey, I just wanted to thank you for hosting both of my daughter's birthday parties. As usual the 35-40 unexpected toddlers were at their most chaotic but they loved every minute of their time at Anais' party with Princess Ariel and Prince Eric. The teachers told me later that each and every child had given their parents rave reviews of the great time they had with a real live *Mermaid and her dashing Prince. Several of them asked when Anais' birthday would happen again and all the teachers raved about how beautiful Ariel was. We've just finished with Margaux's party a week later and again the same 35-40 toddlers showed up. When Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip arrived the children were mesmerized and captivated. I was stunned at how quiet they became when Aurora sang and how fascinated the boys were when Phillip showed them his *Sword of Justice and told stories about slaying and capturing dragons. Their control over the kids were absolutely amazing. This was the second time Margaux had Sleeping Beauty host her birthday but with Phillip there she was overwhelmed with joy. I don't know how we can top this in the future but I do know I'll be calling you again year after year. Hello Stacy-Just wanted to drop you a line to say how very much we appreciated having "Prof. Judy" entertain at our daughter Lydia's birthday Party on Sunday. If you asked Lydia what her favorite part of the party was, she will tell you that, "It was Professor Judy...and she made Professor DUMBLEDORE appear on the whiteboard!" She was telling EVERYONE about it...stranger passing by on the street, now know about Professor Judy and her many talents. Many of us Moms marveled at how Judy captured our attention for so long. At six, it's difficult to get them focused for 20 minutes at a time let alone 45 mins! I didn't really know what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how well Judy knew her craft and how age-appropriate her material was! (See jpg file attached) She had great physical presence and REALLY got into the whole Harry Potter theme! She really made it. The kids were so empowered after her performance, they truly believed in magic and their ability to do magic! After Judy's magic lesson, they were mixing their "potions" with such intensity, and flying around on their broomsticks playing Quidditch with voracity, I think they really felt like they were flying...all due to her setting the scene. Stacey, Sorry its taken so long to write. I've been swamped with work since my daughter Margaux's party. Sleeping Beauty (Lisa) was an absolute fantasy come true for her. I have never seen her so star stuck and in so much awe. "Aurora" had the patience of a saint dealing with the 30+ kids that were mobbing her constantly. Despite it all she was able to pleasantly entertain the masses and give my daughter individual attention as well. Her constant tie-ins to the Sleeping Beauty story made her so very real to Margaux and her *best friends. Margaux still looks fondly at her pictures and talks about Sleeping Beauty coming to her party next year. By then, I'll be planning a party for my other little girl as well. Stacey Parzik (www.partiesforkids.net), I want to follow-up and let you know what a wonderful evening we had for little Mark last Monday (12/29/03) in Woodland Hills. Along with all of our staff & CEO Judi Irving in attendance, there were two people that represented the Make-A-Wish Foundation, one of which was Shelley Ginsburg, Director of Public Relations for the Los Angeles area. Mark & his family had a great evening; I had a chance to sit down and talk to them. There were some gifts handed out and, of course, the check presentation ceremony marked the goal of having successfully raised $4,000 for Mark at all our blood drives throughout December. I have to tell you, though; the highlight of the evening was, undoubtedly, Scott(Spiderman). From the moment he walked through the door, arriving with music playing in a discreet handbag filled with goodies, until when he left, Scott captivated not only Mark, but also everyone else there. Spiderman brought an aspect to the evening that made it unforgettable. We spoke earlier in the day and he was flexible when I changed his arrival time on short notice. There was some concern that Mark might not be able to hold up all evening, but he did just fine, with Spiderman there all the while. Not only did he have things for the kids to do, but Scott was also so enthusiastic the entire evening. As we discussed ahead of! time when planning this, I wasn't expecting him to stay past 30 minutes. However, without my even having to ask him to stay longer, he was there for the entire time, until when most people started leaving around 7 p.m. I still have that song ringing in my head! From all of us at HemaCare and with sincere gratitude from Marks family, I want to say thank you, again. As I had hoped, the presence of Spiderman brought a wonderful touch to the occasion and the fact that you honored my request to donate your company's participation free-of-charge does not go without notice or appreciation. I would be more than happy to recommend you for children's parties and any other special events. Please know that Scott is excellent at what he does. Hi Stacey - Thank you, thank you, thank you! "Buzz Lightyear" was great! He exceeded my expectations. He kept a room full of 3 and 4 year old entertained for an hour and a half, and my son was as happy and excited as I've ever seen him. It was a great party! My four year old daughter kept saying what a geat party it was, thanking her brother for inviting Buzz, and thanking him for inviting her. Hi Stacey: Just wanted to tell you that "Baloo the Bear" (Henry) was wonderful.. Dylan truly enjoyed his birthday party.. Even the adults enjoyed him. Everyone really liked his voice and how deep he made it....Alot of people took your business card that he had left. Dylan at first came running yelling, Mom Mom... Boo Boo, but when it came time to stand next to him..he didn't want anything to do with him...but if you were holding him, he was fine with him.. He did however warm up to him..so it was great. the pictures came out wonderful. Will have to send you a pic of Dylan and Baloo with the cake..it came outreally cute...Will definitely keep in touch...Ryan 1st birthday is coming up in March....so I will call you in the New Year....until then..

Dear Stacey, Just wanted to report that Richard delivered a fine performance at my sons' birthday party today. He is extremely energetic and the kids really enjoyed his presentation. The hour long performance raced by and the kids were well exercised by the end. I would highly recommend him for a child's birthday, but would suggest it is more for kids at 7 years old and above. He might surprise younger ones with his quick motions and booming voice. I would also suggest a good sized outdoor space for the Quidditch game finale. Kids are running, playing a form of soccer, with broomsticks between their legs and in a small area with alot of kids, the chance of broomsticks clipping faces increases. Hi Stacey, We engaged Scotty to do our four year old's (Claire) birthday party this last Saturday (10/26/02). Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were. The kids absolutely loved him.
