and four more under Che's
command are now in Havana

Tania the GuerrilaTHE remains of internationalist fighter Haydée Tamara Bunke Bider, known throughout the world as Tania the Guerrilla, and of Bolivians Mario Gutiérrez Ardaya (Julio), Aniceto Reinaga Gordillo (Aniceto), Jaime Arana Campero (Chapaco) and Francisco Huanca Flores (Pablito), all members of Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara's guerrilla army in Bolivia, arrived at José Martí International Airport on December 13, at the request of their families.

The remains of the heroic combatants were immediately taken to the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces' Granma Hall in Havana, where the remains of Cuban internationalists Manuel Hernández Osorio (Miguel) and Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja (Moro); Bolivians Roberto Peredo Leigue (Coco) and Julio César Méndez Korné (Ñato); and Peruvian Edilberto Lucio Galván Hidalgo (Eustaquio) were deposited on March 15 this year.

The remains will be temporarily housed in Granma Hall until they are finally laid to rest in the Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara Memorial in the city of Santa Clara.
