LOOK WHAT I FOUND

I recently joined NetSisters.
During the "welcoming" process ~ I met LadyJ.
I visited her website .. and found an adoption page!

I fell in love!

LadyJ has the cutest puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs up for adoption. One of a kind!

Like I've mentioned before ~ I used to raise Labrador Retrievers.
I studied pedigrees for months before deciding on a stud dog.
Word was out about a planned litter, and all puppies were sold before they were even whelped.
While future owners were checking out my puppies' pedigree ~ I was checking them out!
Did they have children .. if so, how old.
Did they have a fenced yard ... prize rose bushes for a puppy to play with? In other words .. I did a background check on them!
I spent months planning a litter, and weeks of raising them to be social, and love people.
With each puppy I sold ~ a part of me went with them.
I sold the most spoiled ~ loving pups in the world!
I would follow up with a phone call within two days after they took their pup home.
Checking to see if there were any problems.
Then I would call again after a month.
I insisted they spay or neuter their pup unless they were planning to show it in conformation classes.

When my breeding stock was older, they were spayed ... for health reasons.
Alot less likely to develop cancer if they are spayed.

Please meet Brandy.
I can picture him strolling along manicured lawns on an English Estate!
I fell in love with his attitude!

I knew he would be too aloof to bother with the cats around here.

Unless you plan to start showing dogs ... there are so many puppies and dogs at the local humane shelters that need good homes.
Check them out ... they have so much love to give.
Take him to obedience school, and teach him to be a good K-9 citizen!

Now for the kitty!
What can I say ... I love cats!
All of mine are spayed or neutered.
Thousands of kittens are killed daily .. just not enough homes for them.

Meet the newest member of the family .. Karsten.
She has the sweetest little face!
She will look beautiful decorating my couch with the other cats!

She is a lucky kitty ... found me to love!
She will have plenty of food, and a warm snug house to sleep in at night.
She won't be like thousands of strays out there ... wondering where their next meal is coming from .. and when.

Our dogs and cats depend on us for love, care, and food.
That's very little ~ considering the love and joy they give us in return.

Go to LadyJ's site, and check out the cats and dogs she has up for adoption.
