Mother Nature sometimes smiles on certain individuals and gives them more protection than others. The character with this edge has an unusually thick skull. This imparts to the him an Armor rating of 1 in the head. This is cummulative with any helmets or spells which he might have in effect. But it will not allow the Armor rating to exceed 5.

This protection does not come without a price. The increased skull thickness decreases the size of the amount of space for the brain. In game terms this means that the character is limited to a max of d8 in the Traits of Smarts and Knowledge. And there is a further -2 to all rolls related to these tratis.

Some people are just faster than others. Add +2 to the character's pace.
