This staff is used in ritual occult worship. It allows the bearer to cast and learn Black Magic spells. Also, one level is added to each Black Magic Spell learned by the character.

To the untrained eye, the Fallen Star appears to be just a gem set into a broach. But upon further examination, it seems as though the ruby is on fire. Some say it was part of a falling star, others say it came form hell itself, but where ever it came from it is totally evil. The gem stores extra wind and bestows it on it's wearer when he needs it. The only way that the gem may recharged is through a ritual sacrifice, in which the Fallen Star is immersed in a still beating heart.
