This page will have Brendan's upcoming projects, both real and rumors buzzing around.

NEXT: The Quiet American

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Brendan Fraser is in final negotiations to star in a remake of "The Quiet American," a thriller based on Graham Greene's 1955 Vietnam-based novel.

Filming to begin in January in Australia and Vietnam.

Brendan is currently in Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam filming. Possible release date is end of the year. (posted 3/7)

Filming is finished for this one as well. Look for a fall release date. (posted 6/25)

The release has been pushed back. I've heard April, but stay tuned. (posted 10/12)

STAGE: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Looks like the rumor has become reality. Brendan will perform on London's West End. Current start date is September 2001.

--Frances O'Connor (Allison in Bedazzled) will play Cat, at Brendan's request. Set to kick off in September.

It did start in September, and Brendan is reprising his role of Brick nightly through December. (posted 10/12)

UPDATE:

Brendan said no to "George 2" and a reported 12.5 million dollar paycheck, so that film is probably going to go straight to video.

In the Future: Uhm....stayed tuned. He hasn't made any plans for after Cat that I know of.

I realize the sound isn't from a Brendan film, but fitting, isn't it? MUSIC: All for You-Sister Hazel, Hitching A Ride-Green Day, Wuthering Heights-Pat Benetar, It's My Life-Bon Jovi, West Side Story, What's My Age Again-Blink 182
