Personal Comments: "As you can see, I'm a guy who likes to score and who gets to the free throw line often. Although, I have no 3-pointers made from behind the arc, I wish to make at least 25 in my career. I started playing basketball about seven years ago and haven't stopped since. Although, I've only played four years of organized basketball, I've played pickup games with friends and people who think they can beat me. Although, I'm in my last year of Middle School, next year, I hope to play for the Junior Varsity team for a great basketball team, Jefferson High School." Career Highlights: Played on a rec squad with 17 year-olds, but still managed to knock down 14 points, 3 steals,6 rebounds, and 5 assists a game. During one game had 27 points all 3's. Future: Is attending Rainier Beach High School and will be playing on the J.V. as the starting shooting guard. Personal Comments: "I have a nice shot, can pass really good and I have nice shakes." Personal Comments: "I am known for my athletic ability, and for my ability to put on some post moves even though I'm a guard. I play on my high school J.V., and I'm going to be on the varsity next year." Personal Comments: "My true playing days are over, but now I'm a playground and city league baller. I have sick freaks and can pass the ball like Muggsy Bogues." Future: I am looking forward to starting my new coaching job at Jefferson High School for the J.V. team. Personal Comments: "I am a pretty good shooter, and I am know for my ball handling skills. I am currently a senior on my high school varsity team. Right now I am the leading scorer on the team. I am really a longshot to go to college on a scholarship, but I won't give up trying." Personal Comments: "I have always been a good inside player, but I really like to shoot the trey. My current coach doesn't really like me to shoot three's, but when I sink it, it's all good." Future: Is going to play J.V. or Varsity next year for his high school. Future: Is currently playing playground ball, and in a local city league, but has plans to take his game to high school next year. Personal Comments: "I am strictly a street baller, I live to play in the playgrounds and maybe to hussle up some money. I just play for the love. My idol is Earl Mandigualt, the greatest baller who ever lived." Personal Comments: "I've found my place on the team as sort of a point guard that can shoot the rock good. I love to pour it in and rip the ball from anybody who tries to freak me. My coach loves me for my mad D, but I know the 13 pts. a game helps too." Personal Comments: "I play varsity on my school team, am on an AAU team, play rec. for my town, and play a lot of playground and street ball all the time. I'm known for my sweet ups, board work, and smooth shot. I can hit the trey, or take you to the hole with authority. I play for the love. My idols are Scottie Pippen and Earl Manigault, the 2 best ballers to play the game." Personal Comments: "I play varsity on my high school team. I also play for an Auu team rec. for my town, and play a lot of playground and street ball all the time. I am known for my dazzling dunks, and for my sweet ups, board work, and smooth & sweet shots. I am mostly an all around player, I can rebound, shoot, dribble, pass, and can be a team leader. I play for the love of the game. My idols are everybody that played or plays in the game I love, Basketball." Future: "My dream is to one day make it to the NBA as a first round pick in the draft. And to have my own shoes and clothing like Michael Jordan." Personal Comments: "I've played high school ball since I was in seventh grade, played AAU ball for four years, member of 17 & under Shervepor/Bossier Select which won AAU National Championship this past summer. My weakness is inconsistency from behind the arc." Personal Comments: "I am a sophomore and play on both the varsity and junior varsity squads. My sophomore class team has gone 47-1 in three years of ball since seventh grade. I also play a lot of playground ball and tournaments around the city. There's no better game." College: Univ. of Dallas, Rhoades (Memphis), and Hendrix (AR). I am interested in all of these to play basketball. They are small but to tell the truth I'm not good enough to play DI ball. Personal Comments: "I've played varsity since my sophomore year, even though I only started playing in 7th grade. I've played with and against some of the top players in the country. I have played with Bernard Smith (Univ. Houston), Rashard Lewis (Seattle Sonics, at a pick up game at UH), Stephon Marbury (fresh. year at AAU tourney), Adam Hall (fresh at Univ. of Virginia), and Richard Dumas (a real player until he started messin' with drugs.) I don't like to score that much because I always know my teammates can, so I have worked hard on my passing skills. I have really good handles for 6'5" and can bring the ball up if I need to. My shot has improved over the summer and my range is about two or three feet outside the paint....just kidding 2 or 3 ft. behind the three point line. I can post up smaller players and take bigger ones off the dribble which makes me a threat inside and out. Offense is cool, but I like to play defense, I love the challenge of stopping one of the team's best players and when you play in a highly competitive area like Houston you are faced with the top players. I like to take charges, because that can help our team to win. I feel that over the past few years I have become an all-round player." Personal Comments: "I'm more of one of those ghetto street ballers. I've been playing in the parks and I don't do fundamentals. I don't like simple. flashy is the way to go. I got some pretty long arms to help me. I can scratch my kneecaps while standing str8 up. It helps like crazy. U can pick off a steal and pack a shot anyday. But I did play varsity and jv,so I do have some normal coaching fundamentals in me." Personal Comments: "Currently i am a freshman starting on my high school j.v. team, we are 13-3. I have been playing ball all my life. This season I had 33 points against Dayton high school. I have had 5 double doubles already. I may play varsity before the season is done. My true love is the playground tournaments. My team has won 5 tourny's over the past summer." Personal Comments: "As you can see I like to get assists more then points, I'm superb when it comes to keeping control of the ball and getting it inside. But I do need to work on my rebounding skills as much as possible. I got the nickname around school of Iverson cause he's my favorite basketball player and people say I've got Iverson type potential." Personal Comments: "Even though I haven't played organized basketball in over three years I am looking to pick up somewhere either playing in a minor league or whether I can get into college to make my mark. My range is unlimted for example I can shoot three's flat- footed and half-court shots effortlessy. No exaggeration. I am not cocky just know what I can do. My range is not the only aspect of my game that is impressive, my handles are above average, and I speacialize in no-look passes and trick shots. Hopefully you will here my name in the papers." Personal Comments: "I have played basketball ever since I was 5-years old. I played for a traveling basketball team and we won the Lake/Northern Cook County basketball championships. I currently play on a middle school basketball team and a rec league. I'm known for my defense, which leads to my fastbreaks which leads to an easy lay-up, equivalent to two points. I'll pop the trey anyday and I'm also known for taking it in. My idols are Gary Payton because he knows how to play defense, and Kobe Bryant because he is just so creative with the ball and can shoot the jumper and take it all the way in." Personal Comments: "Can play anywhere on the court. Can drop the jumphook from down low all day long or take my man out and rain jumpers in his face. Uncanny dribbling ability, good leaper, run the floor well, and great court sense. Love to clean up the trash! Often compared to Tom Gugliotta or maybe even Kevin Garnett." Future: Colleges- Lasalle, Fordham, Maryland, Conneticut, Florida, Olkahoma, Brown, Rutgers and more to come. Players I am Going after to be better than- 1.Deshawn Stevenson, 2. Luke Whitehead, 3. Marcus Taylor. Profile: I have been playing varsity basketball since my sophmore year. I can do it all...dribble the ball up the court, guard the best defender, or fire up a game when needed. You will not find me at a party or the mall, I am on the basketball court practicing on my game,or inside watching old tapes of basketball players such as : Tim Thomas, Marcus Cox, Tony Robertson, Jason Williams, or Quentin Richardson. That's all the games when they were in high school. If you don't know who these guys are then you are not a true baller. Next year I guarantee that my name will be on the top high school players list because right now I am getting my game up. While you are out partying or chillin with your girl I am ballin. So remember the name Maxx johnson because if you don't you will be sorry when we meet!
Description: Doesn't play organized ball. Strictly Pick-Up Baller. Puts up mad points when needed. But mostly is a utility player. Plays with whoever is around. No matter if they are 6'7" and are in college. Plays with reckless abandon. Quote: "Never give up. Even if you are the smallest player out there, give it all you got. You'll get more respect by hanging in there than by giving up, now lets play." TRAITS: hustle, smart, good vision, never give up attitude. Personal Comments: "For me there is no challenge too hard. Nobody out hustles me. I feel that I am the best ballhandler ever. Even better than THA PISTOL. I am a baller because I work my ass off every day to become one. Remember my name because I will be an all-american one day." Thanks for listening... Credentials: Northwest Oklahoma ALL-STAR, Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Assoc. ALL-STAR, ALL-STATE Honorable Mention. Personal Comments: "I have great shooting potential and do all other aspects of the game well also. I am known for my precise shooting ability and I welcome any double teams because I love to rack up the assists also. I have good organized basketball experience as I led my high school team to the area losers bracket final, one game away from the state tournament. Although my offense shines the most, I am known for being a solid defender. I am currently going to college and I plan on trying out for the team for next season." Personal Comments: "I am truly an all-around baller. I feel that I am a dominant force on the team. I'm just looking for a chance to explode on the B-Ball Scene." Personal Comments: "I got to Merrimon Christian School at which I am a starting point guard. I've started every game that I can remember. I started playing when I was about 5. I play for my middle school team which ranked 2nd in the conf. I started playing with the varsity team in mid-season. I averaged 8 points per game hitting 6 treys. We later went on to win the state championship in Charlotte, NC." Personal Comments: "I am one of the kids who just stays at the park all day shooting. I never knew what a factor strength could be until this year when teams were forcing me to take it to the hole and it held me back. I can't wait to play in college, which one I am not sure or what division, but anyone can make it as long as you bust yourself and put in the time. I used to think I was good until I started playing against some real "ballers" and it was a humbling experience." Personal Comments: "Don't let the nickname fool you. I am not some wannabe 300 pound hooper. I am strictly a pick-up game player now and I have played in various leagues in the Baltimore area and against a lot of the college and pros from Baltimore Sam Cassell, Muggsy Bogues etc. I am a known shooter with unlimited range and once scored 60 points in a rec league game all on three pointers. But I love to pass just as much and some people who watch me play say that I am Jason Kidd with a jump shot. I live for the summers because not only do I play pick-up ball in B-more but my friends and I have taken road trips to DC. VA. and PA. I have played against Maryland guard Steve Francis ( and to be honest got smoked and am not ashamed to admit it) I am some what of a small time legend because there is not a court in B-more that I haven't played on and held my own against top flight competition." College Highlight: Dunked on a kid named Kevin Zaoreo in the finals to give our team the go ahead basket and win. Personal Comments: "Of Course I'm an NBA dreamer, but if I had a choice I would never want to be like Mike.....ever. Anthony Mason is the man!" Personal Comments: "Currently the sixth man for the Lisburn Scorpions. Our team has nearly completed the season with a 6-7 record, that should place us sixth in the league. Keep an eye out in the near future for our website." Credentials: All-Conference and All-Area, top 8 in state Three Point Shooting, All stats from my senior season in high school. Personal Comments: "Now I play in city leagues, rec leagues, church leagues, and my favorite of all the city park!!!!!!! I've been playing for years and years, and everytime I play I love the game more and more. I can't forget about all my ballers in B-TOWN." Personal comments: I am the starting pointguard for my college team. Although we don't keep records on PPG etc. (Crazy English B-Ball hey?) take it from me my assist count would be massive. I am strictly a team player very unselfish and will do anything legal to win. My best traits are no look passes, good press defense, penetration into zone defense and drawing players before passing to give the open shot to someone else. As you've probably figured I'm not the team's top scorer and my shooting is quite poor actually but when the pressure is on I can step up and take on players well over 6'. I even get a few rebounds now and again. |
