A Horses Prayer My Master, I offer my prayer. Feed me, water me, and care for me, and when the days work is done, provide me with grain and hay, shelter, a clean dry bed and a stall wide enough for me to lie down.
Always be kind to me. Your voice often means much to me. Pet my neck, and talk softly to me. And finally my master, when my strength is gone, do not turn me out to starve or freeze. Take care of me as I have you all these long years. And your God will reward you here and after. In the name of him that was born in the stable. |
