Red was our first homebred Champion. He was one of the smartest dogs I
have ever met. He was my "IT" dog as you can see from the marking on his chest.
Red is the sire of CH Riverbank's Zephyrus, CH Riverbanks Aglaia, CH Riverbanks
Apollo and CH Riverbanks Harpocrates.  He was a kind, gentle dog that watched over
my daughter when she was just a baby.  He loved people and other dogs, he loved to swim,
ride in the car, play show dog and chase ducks.  He also loved Rum & Pineapple juice!
I think most of all he loved to do anything he thought might please me.
He was High Scoring Hound on his first obedience show in May of 1986.  He finished his
CD in 5 shows finishing by going second in his class under Judge Jill Jones.
Seven years later he won High Scoring Veteran at the National Specialty in Hillsboro,
Oregon under the same judge.  His great grand daughter made him proud that day by
winning High in Trial.

Red was my dear friend and I know he is sitting at the Bridge watching for me.
You are a good dog Red.  Always were.
I miss you big guy save a chest rub for me. I'll see you soon.

"Angel of God,
my guardian dear
To whom God's love
commits me here;
Ever this day be at my side,
To track and guard,
to rule and guide."
