PILOT OFFICER EAGLES SECTION
Watcher Of The Skies
Ever since my first breath on the earth in 1894, I have always been facinated by the sky, I used to go up into the hills and sit there for hours on end, and dream beyond the heavens. I think looking back on it that it was the stillness that attracted me, and the strong captivation of it all.
Ive been working one way or the other with the RAF ever since I came over to England from the States back in 1923. Ive been very involved with Hurricanes, which are my favorite bird of the lot. I know in this time of design the Hurricane is somewhat looked down upon, but its still a solid performer, with little complaints.
You could say that Ive found my true home here with the 1st RAF Squadron, and I have a great bunch of buddys, who Im proud to know, and be part of. This lousy War is taking a heavy toll on the RAF, and we will fight on until the bitter end, I know that we will give our all....For Alls Sake.
