I was born in Sweden to a English Father, and Swedish Mother in 1921. I spent the early years being brought up in Stockholm, Swedens beautiful City. My early years at school were rather uneventful, exept to say that I was a rather keen Artist of Birds. And this subject has facinated me up until this day.
I was at an early age to join the RAF, when I was 17, but I was lucky to have gotten to know Scorpion and Griffin...two very fine Pilots....whilst at flight college. And they with all their exciting stories soon had me biting at the bit. They helped and encouraged me to get into the cockpit, and train as a fighter Pilot.
I have just been Promoted to Pilot Officer, and hope to do my Squadron and Family Proud...By doing my Duty....
