Buongiorno, and welcome to the Internet space circuit
breaker known elongley as “SADNESS IS IN THE SKY”. My
name is Steve Phillips and besides residing somewhat
wallflowerly in Melbourne, Australia, I produce a magazine,
of which most of which follows, has been, or is a part of
one or more of the first 5 issues. In a nutshell, “SADNESS
IS IN THE SKY”
was born out of a desire for more; more
information, more detail, more freedom, more personality,
less structure. Most publications, be they music, arts or
literature publications, all contain interviews, reviews,
artwork or writing in a very edited and ‘framed’ form. We
endeavor to do much the same, EXCEPT, we stretch the concept
of words. Some of our interviews have been up to or more than
4 pages in length, if nothing but to present a sense of
‘random’ and ‘free’ speech. Words are important, essential
to the explanation of artistic meaning and background. Pieces
entered here on the “SADNESS IS IN THE SKY” are from Issues 1
through 5 of the publication. Prior to Issue 4, copies were
free, photocopied and flimsy. Another of our aims from Issue
# 1 was to progress with each issue, and this has happened,
to much applause!!!! Contributors here on the Internet site
include site creator Martin S Pribble(pribfran@mpx.com), Steve
Cross(3PBS FM dj in Melbourne) and myself, Steve Phillips.
Much of what is archived here are interviews and reviews from
Issues 1,2 & 3, as well as ‘takes’ from interviews from
Issues # 4 & 5, which are available in their full kit form by
contacting me at (613)94973879, or writing to

(see ordering page) Enjoy, Steve Phillips. Thanks to Martin S
Pribble & Hayley Franklin for their dedicated work.
