Producing a record of pure listening pleasure is a feat The Paradise Motel have pulled off on more than one other occasion, thier essential debut "Left Over Life to Kill" and their terrific debut LP "Still Life" quickly comes to mind also.
This time around on thier 2nd full length LP "Flight Paths", the 6 piece have provided a veritable musical moment which excels at all checkpoints. Just prior to a brief manoeuvre leaving Australia to support their first releases in the UK, I spoke with the Motel's guitar purveyor and string attendant Mattew Aulich at length about "Flight Paths" and expanding horizons.
