David Rappaport's Bio
Born: November 23, 1951 in England
Studied psychology for 3 years at Englands Bristol University where he also performed humourous student revues.
Spent 6 months hitchhiking throughout the U.S. and upon returning to England a one year teaching degree led to 2 years of teaching 8 and 9 year olds.
David was Minister of Foreign Affairs for Frestonia where David lived in 1977-1979/80 before his career took off. He was a star interviewee for the hordes of press that visited to follow up the story of Frestonia's sucession from U.K.. David always made a point to charge a professional fee for his appearances. David was energetic, very funny, extremely bright, and smoked heroic amounts of cannabis which appeared to have no effect whatsoever on him. David later moved to Luton and occassionaly took performing jobs, but with a wife and a recently born son he was doubtful of making a living at it.
Died: (Suicide) May 2, 1990 at age 39. Died of gunshot wound to the head in Laurel Canyon Park, San Fernando Valley, California. Someone once told me it was because he was having a hard time being a big star in a little body and that he had always suffered from depression.
