Dark Vision

My Dark One placates his every whim
upon me as I sit with him
within my mind his visions sent
as hopeless screams from me are rent.

He shows me all that he has done
and joins my mind till we are one
I rip the flesh of mortal neck
and drain the blood to the last spec.

I turn to mist and float along
return to flesh among the throng
and whisper in some maidens ear
to coax her far away from here.

And have my way with her as well
to make her life a living hell
until I wretch my mind away
as I listen to him say

"Now you know why you must never
fall in love with me, ever."
