The Quran

God's message to mankind or something to fill the bookshelf?

The Quran is one of the most widely and most often read books in the world. This is not an empty boast because Muslims all over the worlds do read it profusely. They also give it away as gifts during wedding, housewarmings and farewell presents.

Yet without doubt, the Quran remains the least understood book. The majority of Muslims chant and recite it without understanding what they read.

What a pitiful example the present day Muslims are and it's no wonder the non-Muslims finds it difficult in accepting the Quran.

Because these 'muslims' do not understand God's message they are following their leaders blindly and are kept away from his message. The leaders themselves assume the role of final authority in making decisions and their aim becomes to assert their own authority in derogation of God's law.

These leaders are successful in creating awe amongst their follower that they are spellbound and consider all that is said by their leaders as immutable.
It is for the sincere Muslims to seek guidance directly from the Quran and only this way can they become Submitters to will of God in the purest sense.
