ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE?

There are many things in this life, which appear to be right. To love is a good thing, it makes people feel happy but unless it manifests into something positive, it becomes meaningless. To love someone is to want the best for them. The best is God's promise of eternal life in heaven. If we do not want this for those we love, then our love is futile.

God's promise is not achieved by wishful thinking but by positive action: Belief in the One God and Good Deeds according to His guidance. God's guidance is in the Quran. It may not agree with our own views, but it is the Truth, and it is this Truth which will lead us out of darkness and into light and our ultimate salvation. Nothing else will do.

The information in this article is from the Quran: God's message to Mankind. People like to talk about what they believe but true knowledge about God's guidance can only be found in the Quran.

Knowledge should be based on fact. Otherwise it is just an opinion, and opinion cannot replace the truth.10:36.  True divine guidance can be found only in the Quran, everything else is just ideas.

Most people follow opinions instead of guidance from God (53:23). That is because they have no proper knowledge. Many people HATE the truth (23:70). Because the truth is not the same as their opinions. We should follow the Quran and not opinions.

There are people who follow their parents. Even if their parents have no knowledge and guidance (2:170). On the day of judgement no father can help his son and no son can help his father. Even if they LOVE each other. Other people follow their elders who can lead them to the wrong path (33:67). Some people follow opinions of saints and other men, who they say, bring them closer to God. These people are liars and disbelievers (39:3).

You should follow the guidance from the Quran, which is God's message to mankind. Believe in the Quran God's message and follow it. Because God does not LOVE the disbelievers (3:32).

If you LOVE God, then follow the guidance sent through His prophet. Then God will LOVE you (3:31).

As an emotion LOVE can be expressed many ways. We cannot say exactly what it is. It is different things to different people. There are two sides to this coin called LOVE.

One mother may smack her child to stop him eating too many sweets. Another may give her child lots sweets and junk food and the child may grow up with bad teeth and health problems. Both mother LOVE their child.

Casanova LOVED many women and he died of venereal disease. Idi Amin LOVED his son so much, people say he ate him for breakfast.

Even the Bible tells us that God LOVE the world that He had His son killed on a cross. We know this is a lie.(19:8, 4:157, 37:152)

The above examples show us how LOVE can make people say and do wrong things.

There are people who say that we should LOVE everyone. Even our enemies. These are fancy words. How do you tell a young Bosnian girl raped by many soldiers to LOVE her enemies? Would the families of millions of Jews like to be friends with Hitler?

God tell us that satan is our enemy(36.60) and that he invites us say and do wrong things using fancy words. (6:112)

Should we LOVE him? I don't think so because God tells us no to befriend our enemies.(60:1)

On seconds thoughts, to LOVE your enemies is not such a brilliant idea. But here is a better idea from God.

God does not tell us to LOVE our brother or neighbour. Instead He tells us to say that we are Muslims - submitters to God, and to do good things so that even our enemies receive a good response to their bad deeds and the people who used to be our enemies may become our close friends (41:33-34)

People say that LOVE covers a multitude of sins. This might be true but it would more right to say that LOVE is blind and it does not see any sin. In fact those who LOVE can cover these sins because it is not their eyes that cannot see but the hearts in their chests (22:46)

The Jews and Ansaras said "We are God's children and his BELOVED". Then why does God punish them for their sins? (5:18)

LOVE can be a mask to cover either ignorance or hypocrisy. People who do not follow god's revelation can be recognised by the way they talk (47:30)

God LOVES those who believe and do good deeds 3:76 because it is the good deeds through which god forgives and cancels our sins (29:7)

This far better than covering a sin. As for those who repent, believe and work righteousness, then God will change their sins to credits (25:70) because when reminded of God's revelations they do not act as if they are deaf and blind (25:73).

People who are blind to God's revelations (7:64)will achieve nothing and hell is their destiny (17:97).

God's words are complete in justice and truth (6:115) God LOVES those who encourage this. (60:8)

There are people who say "Judge not and you shall not be judged". God commands justice and righteousness and forbids vice and evil (16:90).

If we do not judge, then how can we tell the difference between right and wrong? How can we encourage good and forbid evil? (3:114)

God LOVES the believers who are kind to each other (5:54). And severe with the disbelievers. God does not LOVE the betrayers. 8:58. This is why God sent down His book so that we can judge (4:105). God LOVES those who are just  (49.9)

There are people who LOVE this brief life (75:20). They LOVE their women, children and hoard money (3:14). They LOVE money too much (89:20). And boast how much money they spend (90:6).

If we follow they majority of people on earth then will be diverted from the path of God because they only follow guesswork ( 6:116). They accept God's scripture partially (15:91). Those people who compromise will be fuel for hell (72:15)

If you LOVE God then follow his guidance which is in the Quran. The Quran is the torch, which will guide you to the truth (2:2). God revealed the Quran to take us out of darkness into light (14:1).

God says do not mix it with wrong beliefs and do not hide the truth (2:42). God also forbids us to say things about him which we do not have knowledge (7:33).

If you say something which you want other people to believe then you should produce your proof if you are truthful (27:64). Otherwise it is just idle prattle which might impress those with little or no knowledge.

Those who are uneducated and do not understand should be helped. We should aim for equality for those less fortunate than ourselves not by taking ourselves down but by bringing them up to our level of understanding.

Those who follow God's guidance will have nothing to fear or grieve (2:38). If you LOVE someone then you will want them to become the best people. The best among us is the most righteous (49:13).

Victory, health, wealth, peace of mind and happiness are absolutely guaranteed by God for those who follow His guidance. (See verses: 2:38, 3:160, 22:38-40, 24:55, 30:47 & 40:51).

Yet the 'muslim' countries are poorest, most miserable, least developed, most corrupt, most tyrannizes places on earth. This is simply because they are not Muslims. They say they believe in God but are liars (23:78-90)

How can they believe in God if they do not follow his commandments. How can they follow His commandments when they do not read the Quran. Instead they follow nothing but traditions and opinions of their fathers.

In conclusion here is the essence of God message:

Righteousness is not the turning of your faces towards the East or the west. But Righteousness is to believe in the One God, the last day, the angels, the scriptures and the prophets and to donate your money, despite one's love, thereof to the relatives, the orphans, the needy, the alien, the beggars, and to free the slaves, and to observe the Salat for purification, and keep the promise that are made, and to remain steadfast in the face of adversity hardship, and war. These are the Truthful, these are the Righteous. (2:177)

Anyone who seeks other than Islam (submission) as his way of life, it will not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he will be a loser (3:85).

Those who believe and work Righteousness, their Lord will guide them as a reward for their faith. Rivers will flow beneath them in the gardens of bliss. Their ultimate prayers will be: "Praised Be To God, Lord of the Universe (10:10).

Many people HATE the truth (23:7). Because the truth is not the same as their opinions. (23:71).
Knowledge should be based on fact. Otherwise it is just an opinion, and opinion cannot replace the truth.(10:36)

God does not tell us to LOVE our brother or neighbour, instead He tells ':us to believe and do good deeds so that by example even our enemies may become our friends. (41:33-34)

God LOVES the believers who are kind to each other (5.54) and severe with the disbelievers. God does not LOVE the betrayers (8:58). This is why God has sent down His book so that we can judge (4.105) God LOVES those who are just (49:9)
