The Quran

God’s Protected Message

Many Christians believe that the Quran was amended by the Calip Othman and that the Quran had a human author. According to Kurt Rudulp, a German translator, much inspiration came from the Bible. They also think that Muslims give ranks of distinction to the messengers of God.

In common with other languages, Arabic has many dialects and the ‘recension’ which the Christians’ highlight was a standardization of pronunciation and not a revision of text. God protects His own revelation and says in Al-Hijr 15:9 ‘We have, without doubt, sent down the message and we assuredly guard it (from corruption).’ There has never been any evidence to show that an interpolation or any other such amendment has taken place.

We do not need any translator's commentary to confirm that the Quran relates events already found in the Bible. This testimony is found in the Quran, itself which endorses previous revelations but where the message has been lost it is reinstated. (Al-Maa’idah 5:48, Younas 10:37, Al-Shu’ara 26:196)

Any person who exalts a prophet does so without the support of the Quran, as equal status is given to all the messengers and the people who make distinctions are considered as unbelievers. (Al-Nisa4:150-151, Al-Baqarah 2:285)

If, for the sake of argument, we were to accept that the Quran had a human source we would have to concede that the person who authored it was not only centuries ahead of his time in scientific matters but also had the ability to write an error free statue book consistent with itself.

In Al-Nisa 4:82 there is a question: ‘why do they not consider the Quran with care? Had it been from any other God they would surely have found many contradictions therein’.

The actions approved by God, and as taught by all the prophets including Jesus and Muhammad, do not change. The Quran is a message for all the people but "Indeed they have rejected the Quran without even studying it, and without knowing it's secrets…"(Younas 10:39)
