Really Good Artists: I've been listneing to this really awesome station lately and it plays people like Joan Osbourne, Sister Seven, Shivaree, John Hyatt, Five for Fighting, the Dandy Warhols, and a bunch of great bands. Listen to all those artists, they're great.
Instrument I Play: Guitar
Songs I Write: Lots of them. Some sound Latino inspired.
Name of my Band: Sad thing is, we've been together for a year and a half and have yet a name. Too bad we have gigs and can't introduce ourselves, huh?
Friends: Yeah, I got 'em.
I tell my mom everything. Seriously. About my friends, about how it makes me mad that some of my friends drink and steal and smoke and have sex. Because I don't do those things. Heck, I don't even cuss! So anyway, yeah, I have a great relationship with my parents. I love my sister, she's away at college right now. I went to vistit her and she got her NOSE PIERCED!!!! It looks really good, I'm serious. I got my upper ear cartilage pierced, and it is now infected. Whoopie.
Um, I love love love music. I'm in a band with my best friend (both of us sing, play the guitar, and write songs) and three other guys (bass, drums, and electric lead). We've played around school and at Borders Bookshop and a little cafe. We actually have a big fan base at school, which is really awesome. We have a gig to play an hour and a half at a posh restaurant in a week, and we're really excited about that. Can't wait! Hopefully some people will hear us and ask us to play other places.
One weird thing about me is that I never like those teeny movies. I hate them, in fact. I always leave rolling my eyes and wishing people wanted to see good movies like The Princess Bride or A League of Their Own, or movies that are funny and good.
I'm a Christian, and I'm sorry if that bothers you. I guess that gives you a pretty good idea of who I am. You'd better get back to the theater now though, your movie could be starting soon.
