Fufu I Don't Want

How To Play:

A circle is formed by the children . This forms a "dance circle" which is nessesary for the game. Once this is complete, the children choose a searcher who stands in the middle of the cirlce. Now the children chant. Searcher says: Fufu I don't want. Children say: don't want. Searcher says: Rice I don't want. Children say: don't want. Searcher says: Na beat you go beat me, na beat you go beat me. We all go do am one . The searcher now tries to break out of the circle, and is chased by the others as a form of tag. After this is completed, the game is contiuned by a new searcher.

Elephants and Lions

How To Play:

Two leaders are chosen by a group of children. The leaders secretly choose who will be the lion and the elephant. These leaders form an arch which the group dances around in a clockwise rotation while singing. At the end of the song the arch formed by the leaders collapse and a player is caught. This player has to bargain secretly with the lion and elephant to decide which he will serve. This player chosen to be on the lion or elephants team. This form of selection contimues till all children are on a team. The two teams then play a game of "tug of war". While they play, they imitate the sounds of the animals that they represent.

Ammesee

How To Play:

This game is accompanied by a song. Very much like the American game "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar", Ammesee teaches social skills to children K-6. This game has no real purpose except to provide entertainment and education to a cultures children.
