Shalonda Enis, a 6'1 forward from Celest, Texas graduated from Universty of Alabama in 1997. During college she helped Alabama to a 49-15 record (.766 winning percentage) during her two-year career, finishing the 1997 season in second place in the SEC (behind Georgia) and advancing to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament both seasons before losing in the semifinals each year.
She has a long list of awards, including being named a 1997 U.S. Basketball Writers All-American and earned second-team All-America honors from the Sporting News and third-team All-America recognition from the Associated Press.
Shalonda played for the Seattle Reign for aprox. 1 1/2 years, during which was named All Star MVP. Shalonda is a great player and a great person as well. She is always willing to pose for a picture or sign an autograph. No wonder she is liked by everyone!
