I woke up in the morning and got ready to go rollerblading with Taylor. I really must have been tired because I had slept in to 11:00. After I finished taking my shower and drying my hair, it was already 11:30. I made my way downstairs and watched t.v. until Taylor came to pick me up. As I was watching t.v. I heard my phone ring.
"Mom, are you going to get it or should I?" I yelled into an empty house. I just remembered that she had left early to go to work, so I was the only one there. I ran up to my room to answer the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey! What took you so long to answer the phone?"
"Sorry, I thought my mom was going to get it but then I just remembered that she isn't home."
"Thats ok," Taylor said as he chuckled a little bit. "Well I just wanted to tell you that I am on my way to pick you up."
"Ok, I am ready."
"Ok, well I guess I will see you in a few minutes then."
"Ok, see ya then."
"Bye"
"Bye," I said as I hung up the phone. I walked into the living room and got a light jacket and wrapped it around my waist so I would have it incase the wind started to blow and I became chilly. I decided that I would use the restroom now, so I wouldn't need to go while I was out. As soon as I washed my hands and walked out of the bathroom, I hear a knock at the front door. I ran over to open it.
"Hey, ready to go?" Taylor asked me.
"Yeah, just let me get my key," I said as I ran back up to my room and grabbed my key off of my dresser.
"Ok, lets go," I said as I made my way over to the front door. I closed the door behind me and made sure that I locked the door.
Taylor and I walked down the street and over to Haley's house.
"Wow, he doesn't live far from me," I said as we approached the door to his house.
"Nope, not far at all," Taylor said as he knocked on the door. The door made little screech as someone opened the door, it was Haley.
"Hey Taylor," Haley said. "And you must be Haley. Taylor has told me everything about you, he talks non stop about you."
I looked over at Taylor to see that he was looking at the ground and blushing, a lot.
"He sure was right though, you are a creature from another world. Its obvious that God make no mistake making you what-so-ever," Haley said.
"Hey!" Taylor yelled pulling me close to him. "Don't hit on my girlfriend like that, she's mine and nobody else can have her." Or so Taylor thought.
"Well are you ready to go rollerblading?" Haley said as he was looking Haley over from head to toe.
"Well we are, but what about you?" Taylor said noticing that his friend was still in his pajamas.
"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Give me a few minutes to change," Haley stated as he closed the door and went inside his house to change his clothes.
"Taylor, I think Haley likes me," I said looking into Taylors eyes with concern.
"Nah, he just thinks your pretty, thats all. Believe me, your not his type."
"Oh really? And my I ask what 'his type' would be?"
"Well, someone that wouldn't mind going all the way with him. Someone that he could become obssessed with that he could go to whenever he had the urge. Someone --"
"Ok, ok. I get your point." I said.
"Well your the one who asked."
"Yeah, I know." Then there was a silence between Haley and Taylor. "So basically, your saying his type is a 'slut'?"
"Yeah, if thats how you want to put it, then yes, you are exactly correct."
Taylor and Haley sat down on the front porch to wait for Haley to get dressed. Finally after had what seemed like a year, Haley came out.
"Ok, lets go."
"Are you sure your ready?" Taylor said.
"Taylor, I think he's ready, I mean it took him like an eternity in there," I said trying to get on Haley's bad side. Something about being around him made me feel uncomfotable.
"Hey, I am a guy, what do you expect."
"Ok Haley and Haley, lets just go and have a good time," Taylor said as we started to walk down his driveway and over to the skating rink.
"Fine," I said as I stuck out my toungue at Haley, who didn't see because he was paying too much attention to the ground.
