BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP....BEEP
My alarm clock went off at 8:00. It was very unsuccessful at doing what it was meant to do because I didn't even budge. My dad soon came in the room and turned it off after hearing for about 5 minutes.
"Haley....time to get up," my dad said as he walked over to my bed.
"Dad...I am tired. Can't I just sleep for a few more minutes?" I asked in a beggingly mannor.
"Ok, you have 10 more minutes, then you have to get up and take a shower," he stated as he left my room.
Those 10 minutes went by in what seemed like one. Before I knew it my dad was back in my room and was telling me to wake up.
"Dad, can't I have just a few more minutes? Please?"
"No, you barely have enough time to take a shower as it is."
"Well I just won't take a shower then."
"Haley Elizabeth Parker! You are going to take a shower this morning. I don't care if the water is cold, you are still going to take a shower this morning. No child of mine is going to go to church dirty!"
After that statement my dad walked out of my room and closed the door. He wasn't gone for long though. About 3 minutes later he came in my room and saw that I was still laying in my bed asleep. I heard him leave again. But before I knew it he was back in my room again. He walked over to my bed and told me to get up once again.
"Dad, can I just skip church today and sleep?"
"Haley, get up right now or else."
"Or else what?"
"Or else this!"
All of a sudden I felt something freezing cold and and wet fall on my face. I jumped up out of my bed and looked at my dad. I saw him holding a empty cup in his hand. He had thrown freezing Ice cold water all over me!
"What did you do that for?!?" I asked in a not so happy mood.
"Well I told you that you were going to take a shower this morning even if the water was cold and since you didn't seem like you were going to get up and take one yourself, I thought I would do you the honors."
"So you dumped freezing cold water ALL over me?"
"Yup, and it worked didn't it?"
"Yes! Ok ok. I am up now."
"Good, now go and take a WARM shower and when you get out your breakfast will be waiting for you," my dad said as he left my room.
I got up and looked in my closet and picked out a sunday dress and layed it out on my bed. I walked into the bathroom and placed my towels on the toilet and then hopped in the shower. I got out of the shower and wrapped a blue fluffy towel around me and put another blue fluffy towel over my hair blonde hair which was only about 3 inches below my shoulders. I walked back to my room and put my dress on. I walked over to my dresser and found a scrunchy that seemed to go well with my dress. 'This dress goes very well with my blue eyes' I thought to myself. After I looked at myself one more time in the mirror, I ran downstairs and went into the kitchen.
"Looks good dad," I said as I sat down infront of a plate of my dad famous eggs abd biscuits.
"Thanks. I made them exspecially for you."
"Well who else would you make them for? Taylor?" I said glancing over to my teddy bear which was on the table. "How did Taylor get down here?"
"Oh, well I grabbed him from you while you alseep so he wouldn't get wet when I poured the water on you this morning."
"Oh, ok, thanks dad."
We ate our breakfast and then got into the car to go to church. Church was boring like usual. I sat in my Sunday School clase trying not to fall asleep like I do every sunday, but this time it was worse cause I stayed up late talking to Taylor. Finally Sunday school was over by 10:30 am. I went and found my dad and we left. We don't usually stay for the sermon because we don't get anything out of it. Our pastor is a nice guy and all, but he just can't preach. After church my dad and I went home. For the rest of the day all we did was clean the house. My dad was hosting a dinner party for his office on friday night after I left and he didn't want to be stuck with cleaning this house at the last minute, so I agreed to help him clean up the house a little bit everyday of the week before I left. Right after dinner I went up to my room and got on-line. This time Jenna was on.
JennaOH: Hey Haley!
HaleyOH: Hey Jenna!
JennaOH: What have you been doing? I have been on ALL day long!
HaleyOH: Oh, sorry. After church my dad and I came home and we have been cleaning the house all day.
JennaOH: Oh, sounds fun.
HaleyOH: Oh, don't you know it!
Just then I got another Im from Taylor.
