Super Chocolate Cheesecake

12oz chocolate wafers
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
32oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
8oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3 lg eggs
1 cup sour cream

Crush the chocolate wafers and add melted butter.  Press into the bottom of a 9-inch
springform pan.  It helps to use a glass to press mixture.  Set aside.  Beat cream
cheese until smooth.  Add vanilla and beat well.  Add eggs one at a time, scraping bowl,
and blending well after each addition.  Add sour cream and blend until smooth.  Pour
filling over the crust, and smooth the top.  Bake at 375* for 1 hour.  Turn the
oven off, and leave cake inside for several hours until it's completely cool.
Leave in the pan and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
