Students Trip Account!"As I am Sure You are all Aware,
This is a "Trip" Year!
Hip Hip Hooray!
Unfortunately, We did not have a lot of Funds to Carry Over into This Year From Last Year's Budget!
....Bad Year!
What this Means for You and Your
Band Student is:
You Must Raise The Funds so
Your Band Student can
There have Already been
Numerous Opportunities for Your Student to put Money into
Their Trip Account!
So Far we have had...
Moose Picnic
Chicken Dinner Sales
The Schweizer Fest Food Booth &
A Car Wash
Here is howThings have been going Thus Far!Moose Picnic, Chicken Dinner, And the Schweizer Fest- For Those who took the time to Show Up to these Events and Work.
The Band Student got $10.00 deposited into their Trip Account, for each event Worked. (each day/night worked too)
There were at Least 5 shifts
available for the Schweizerfest itself! Hmmm....That is $50.00.As For the Car Wash...All the student had to do is, #1) Get Pledges or Donations #2) Show Up to the Car Wash...Only 21 Students Showed up!
Those who Got Pledges/Donations, and Showed up to the Car Wash got 100% of their Pledges/Donations deposited into Their Trip Account.
Congratulations!
Job Well Done!
Those who got Pledges/Donations and did not show up to the Car Wash got 50% of their Donations/Pledges deposited into Their Trip Account.
Wish You could
Have Been There!
Those who didn't get Pledges/Donations and showed up at the Car Wash..
Got Nothing.
I'm Sorry!
Why? Because the Car Wash was Free and Without Donations, then there wasn't any money to deposit!
Another Way we have made it possible for Your Band Student to Put money into their Trip Account
Is for the Parents to "Chair" a
Fund Raiser! How this is Done!
There are many "Pre-Scheduled events...Or lets make one up!
Every Fund Raiser has to be "Chaired" by someone, this is the Person in Charge or Making sure everything goes as Smoothly as Planned. Some events are easy,
some more difficult!
We have a Committee who will
Make the decision about
How much"Chairing"
each event will be worth,
by Level of Difficulty.
To "Make Up" a Fund Raiser
You Say, "Hey, Lets Have
another Car Wash, or Chicken Dinner, I will Chair it" or any
other Idea you may have!
Then We vote, set a Date,
Get the word out'
Then, Just Do It!
You do not Have to personally be in attendance at these fund raisers to get your Students' $10.00 in their Trip Account!...You can Have the Student Work, You Work, Grandma or Grandpa Work, or Just a friend to Work in your Students' Name.
(If you can pull that one off)
Okay Last but Not Least,
Another Option...You can deposit
Money into your Band Student's
Trip Account, as much as you want,
When You Want to.
If you Want to deposit, Lets say
$10.00 a week into your Students
Trip Account. Starting August 23rd,
Your student could have $190.00
by the end of the year, Plus any
Money for Fund Raisers He/She
has Already Worked!
Again, It is Truly Our Hope that Everyone will be in Attendance on the Trip!

Last a Lifetime!
