This little shy hammie is Ms. Ganjette, the daughter of my cousin Brigit. She is a very young, sensitive person. Her father, Mister Ganja, died just before she turned two months old. He was a very old hamster, quite a bit past two years old when Ganjette was born. Ganjette had actually been taken to the pet store to be sold, along with her four litter-mates, just before the father passed away. So we right away went back there and took her back. As you might guess, she is named for her much-beloved father.
