Oh these are the people in your neighborhood! In your neighborhood! In your neighborhood! <hee> Sorry about that moment lapse down memory lane. :) Really, these are just some of the people that your daughter will meet in her journey through life. I'm just starting this, so please be paitent with me as I am trying to make this looks as best as I can. When this starts to get too big for one page, I will add a page two. :) |
Well it's time to get your daughter the essentials she needs for her life. Yep, it's time to go and buy her her first bra....er... weapon and armor. Zen is the man you talk to, and he will have all the basic things your daughter will need on her adventures. Who knows? Maybe you can get some low low discount prices? |
Ah... You just came into some money and you want to treat your little sugarplumb to something special. Maura the Capital's finest (and only) dressmaker is there to make sure your daughter gets the best dress for the occasion. Who knows? Perhaps she also carries bras? :) |
Tired of all the weapon, armor, and bra shopping? Grab a bite to eat at Balbon's Cafe. Food makes the best stress reliever (next to a vacation), and Chef Balbon has a selection just for you and your daughter. |
It's not K-mart; it's the Pawn Shop! Shalom will be at your service whether it be for buying or selling something. I don't know why it's called a pawn shop since you never put anything into hock in there and get it out later. <oh well> Hmmm... Don't even think about selling your daughter's training bra with this guy. |
This sister is almost doing it for herself in the Capital. Not only does Sister Lee work at the church, but she also teaches Theology, and takes donations for church (hey, you can reduce some sin if your in a pinch with those donations!). I bet you're waiting for a bra joke here aren't ya? :) |
I honestly don't know why this guy is here. Dr. Lombardini is his name, and he works at the local hospital. Basically you take your daughter to the hospital and this guy will say something like, "Yes she is sick and needs rest. That will be 45 gold pieces please." Egads! After dragging your daughter there you find out all she needs is rest. Not even a "Take 2 aspirins and call me in the morning" or "That bra is cutting off her circulation!" <sheesh> |
This is the first perosn your daughter meets when she goes to the castle. Hey you have to start somewhere on your road to popularity. :) Classes in decorum will help you get passed him (40 points). Web Mistress Note: I would love to have seen a wedding ending with my daughter and him just purely for the comedy value. :) |
See? Persistence pays off and you made it to the knight! :) Just like our buddy the palace guard you need decorum to get passed him. That's right people refinement, refinement, and maybe just a dash more refinement. |
When you're sick and tired of decorum (thought basically you still need to make sure she gets enough in order to see everybody at the castle), you can (if you have the money) start to have your daughter pile on the charm so she can impress the general. :) And how do we do this? Well one way is to go to school and have your daughter learn dace. There are other ways, but I'll explain those on another page. |
If your daughter has enough smarts, she can rack up the popularity points when visiting the Prime Minister. There are loads of places at school where you can achieve this. Be forewarned however, there is a job that takes away your intelligence! |
Remember working at the church during your daughter's early days and all the faith and morals she earned? Well they are about to come in handy! :) I guess they are easy to get cause they are also easy to lose. Ah the ying and yang of life... |
Oh boy, you made it to the King's Ho....er... Concubine. :) This really blows me away as why on earth would you want your daughter to get popular with the Concubine? <Rhetorical question! No ecchi replies!> Plus didn't the King tell you (The Hero) that he was going to mend his ways so the demon army won't come back? <hmmm> Anyway, old habits die very hard. You need conversation skills to get passed her. WMN: Skip her until you feel the need to improve your conversation skills. |
You have made it her majesty the Queen! Your daughter's temperament is the key of getting passed her; however, you can only get that while doing housework with Cube (and a bonus from the kitchen spirit). However, we all know what happens when we have way too much housework for our daughter... <sigh> WMN: Skip the Queen for the time being until you finish your time with the King. :) |
Ah the big guy himself! This is what you have been working for, right? If you have loads of fighting experience, you can get bunches of popularity points by visiting him. Well once you have enough decorum that is. :) |
This gentleman is the young officer your daughter tries to see every January 31st. Not much is known about him just that he wants to see your daughter again next year on the same date. WMN: Have your next daughter's birthday on the 31st of January just see what happens… |
Think you got what it takes to talk to this guy? He's a tough act, so be sure you daughter has the gift of gab. However, when you do talk with him some of your court popularity goes down but your sensitivity goes up about 15 points. Basically it's a judgment call on your part. |
Well you must start somewhere, and why not start out
with working with your butler Cube?
Your daughter gains housework experience (along with temperament)
though losing her sensitivity in the process. Oh yeah, don’t expect to get paid. WMN: You may not get paid like the other jobs, but Cube gave my
daughter 92 pieces of Gold for doing such a great job at cleaning the house
for one time and (so far) one time only. |
Tired of doing housework? Ready to go out in the world and earn some money? However, you’re only 10. What can a young girl at that age
do? Well work for Radania! She’s the Capital’s Day Care
worker. You daughter takes care
of the kiddos, or tries to… This
will come on hand if and when she becomes a mommy herself though the game
never mentions it. Sensitivity
goes up, but Charisma will go bye-bye.
Then again, why should a ten year old have charisma in the first
place? |
Those little rugrats getting you down? Want to do something else? Well Deginzi at the Inn might have
something for your daughter… She
can wash and hang the laundry!
Her cleaning skills will go up, but for some unknown reason her combat
skills will go down. |
Yes, yes she’s only a
youngster, but what a better time than now to get her beefed up? Time to start working at the
farm. Your daughter feeds the
animals and bails the hay. Her
Constitution goes up as well as her Strength, but gosh darn it her refinement
goes down. I mean geez, working
on a farm does that?!?
<grin> |
Now for some peace and solitude… Sister Lee has you mopping up the
floors of the church or have you bring her books. Your Faith and Morals go up, and the only thing to go down
is your Sin. |
While your daughter was at home working with Cube,
he taught you how to cook a few dishes.
Now try your hand at cooking at a real restaurant. Balbon the master chef wants to see
if you have what it takes to work at his place. You not only cook but serve as well. Of coarse your cooking skills go up,
but again the combat skills take a nose dive. |
First and foremost I could
make jokes about him being Wolverine doing a cameo or about his taste in
1980’s Flock of Seaguls haircuts, but I won’t. <grin>
This is Hoss the local Lumberjack. <<Resist making Monty Python jokes>> I guess your daughter will cut down
tree and wear suspenders and a bra once she reaches the age of 11. <hehehehe> You Strength goes up, but the
Refinement will slip away. |
Also at the age of 11 your daughter can work for Sara
the matron of the capital’s only beauty salon. It’s a good place to hone up on your sensitivity and
artistic skills however I must warn you that if you do not have enough artistic
talent you will not earn any sort of gold there. Sara is a tough boss. The Sensitivity will go up, but the Strength will
diminish. |
Your sweet little peach has turned 13, and you can cart
her little butt to Toscal the mason!
He will have your baby stacking bricks like nobody’s business! Her Constitution will go up, but the
Charisma will fall down and go boom. |
If your daughter doesn’t want to make buildings, she
could always work with Ko the Hunter.
Hope your daughter isn’t the animal loving type cause Ko will have her
trapping and bagging those cute little creatures. Constitution, Sin, and Combat skill will go up while her
Refinement takes leave. |
You daughter just hit her teenage years, and what a better
gift for a teen than to have her work the graveyard shift at an actual
graveyard? Baran will show her
the ins and outs, but you gotta watch this fellow… He will tell you scary stories. It’s all to make you Sensitivity go up and Charisma go
down. Now you have to check out
for yourself if his stories are true or just plain hooey. |
Whoo hoo girl!
Looks like the Countess needs someone to help home school her son, and
you being fourteen years old are it!
This will help improve your Morals (esp. if your daughter has the
smarts gain while going to school) though depleting your Charisma in the
process. WMN: This also helps out in the maternity
area too! |
Are you spending the time away with the King’s
Concubine and need to learn how to idly chat with the best of them? Ask Daddy if you can work at the
Bar. That’s right Bar
Capital! It’s the legit place to
work. Working with Iron Chef
Morimoto-san (Hey it sort of looks like him!) will increase some more Cooking
skills as well as you Conversation skills. The downside to all this is that your daughter’s
Intelligence (the she worked so long and hard for) will slide downward. <sigh> BTW, his real name is Dimitri. |
This is Sam.
Sam has a plan for your sweet little fifteen-year old daughter. He wants her to work at the sleazy
bar. However it is up to you
dear Papa if you want her go down that dark torrid road. Your butler may balk at you for doing
this. If you can handle (that
is) the stress, the climbing Sin and Charisma, and the tumbling Morals,
Faith, and Temperament.
WMN: There are a few
other little surprises along the way when you take this job. <hee> |
Finally this is Baron Tellmark. He runs the local Cabaret, and has a job offer for your sixteen year old sweetums. She can first start out as a waitress and move her way up to be a stage dancer. Again the things that go up are Sin and Charisma and the things that go down include Intelligence, Refinement, and Temperament. |
This is Barcelo the
alchemist and science teacher.
He teaches your daughter that a new golden age is right around the
corner and to put away those silly superstitions and make way for science. You can pile on the Intelligence, but
be warned once you reach the Adept level of learning your Faith and Magic
Defense will start to go down.
This is Comstock
the literary teacher of the Princess Maker 2 world. He will teach your daughter about good grammar, poetry, and
all the things one needs for a proper upper class education. Intelligence, Refinement, and even
Art go up. Nothing goes down!
Again Sister lee
gets the award for being the Nun with the most! Most jobs that is.
<grin> Now she is
teaching classes on Theology.
Wouldn’t you just love to hear a conversation between her and
Barcelo? <grin> Your Magic Defense goes up along with
your Faith and Intelligence.
Again, nothing goes down…
Here is General
Kruger. Not only is he the
general for the King’s army, but he takes time out of his busy schedule to
teach Military Strategy to the young pupils of the Capital in hopes to find
someone who can take his place someday and keep the Captial safe from further
demon attacks. Intelligence and
Combat Skill go up, but Sensitivity goes down. Hey this is war not art class!
This is Leftor
the Fencing Instructor. Your
daughter has to fight the monsters and fellow human like opponents with
something you know, and he’s the teacher for you. He maybe a little rough around the edges, but he will
teach your daughter the ways of the sword. Your Combat Skill and Combat Attack go up and nothing is
lost…
This is Carl Fox
the fighting instructor. He will
teach your daughter how to defend herself when the badies come to fight. It’s not easy, and nothing ever is;
however, keep at it and your daughter will eventually become
unstoppable. For those who
may not know Combat Skill and Combat Defense go up and nothing goes down.
This is Putnam
the Magic teacher. Looks sort of
like the late Doug Henning.
O_o He will teach your
daughter all the basics when it comes to magic. He will help her raise her Magic Skill and Magic Attack
once it’s all said and done.
Again, nothing is lost when taking this class.
This is
Bartholomew, and he teaches classes in Protocol. That’s the stuff your girl needs in order to talk to one
and all at the castle. Decorum
and Refinement go up, and nothing goes down.
This is Art teacher
and court artist Filkins. If you
little sweetie pie wants to enter the Harvest Festival Art contest she not
only needs the classes but a picture as well. Filkins will let you know when it’s ready for her to paint
a picture for a mere 100 gold pieces.
Of course Art and Sensitivity goes up and nothing goes bye-bye.
And finally this
is Tobi the dance instructor.
She will get your daughter all primed and ready for balls and the
Harvest Festival Dance Contest (even though Tobi is also a competitor). Your daughter’s Art, Constitution,
and Charisma will move upward.
Nothing is lost.
Deities
These are the guardians of your
daughter for whatever month you receive her at the start of the game.
Saturn is the guardian deity for the most part of January*. She is under the sign of Barbarus. Web Mistress Note: I first read that as Barnabus and thought of Dark Shadows (old 60's o'cult type soap). If your daughter is ever lucky enough to meet Saturn, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra refinement. |
Uranus is the guardian deity for the better part of February. She is under the sign of Thessaurus. WMN: I wonder if that means this deity knows lots of cool words for simple everyday words? If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Uranus, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Sensitivity. |
Neptune is the guardian deity for the most of March. Her sign is Pisces, and her likes include long walks, puppies, and dislikes dumb people....Er wait.... Almost sounds like something someone would read in Playboy. <g> If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Neptune, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Intelligence. |
Mars is the guardian deity for the better part of April. His sign is Agnus the lamb ( not Agnus the crazy lady from down the street with 68 cats all named Maybelline). If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Mars, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Morals. |
Venus does double duty as guardian deity for the better part of the months May & October. Her sign for May is Taurus and for October her sign is Libra Divinus. That's right folks, you can be as stubrun as a bull or (try to be) level headed as a pair of scales. If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Venus, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Charisma. |
Mercury also does double duty as the guardian deity for the most part of the months of June and September. Her sign for June is Gemini and for September is Puella. Puella? Is that a fancy word for Virgo the Virgin? If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Mercury, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Intelligence. |
Moon is the guardian deity for the better part of the month of July. Her sign is Cancer Immanis. People born under this sign are day dreamers? I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention, but then again I wasn't born in July either. :) If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Moon, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Sensitivity. |
Sol is the guardian deity for the most part of August. His sign is Leo. I hear that Leos are the type not to believe in all that hocus pocus stuff, but what do I know? :) If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Sol, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Refinement. |
Hades (or if you like Pluto) is the guardian deity for most of November. His sign is Scorpio Divinus. WMN: When you start a game with him as your daughter's guardian deity, he gives her a fair amount of charisma. Explains people like Adam Ant and Leslie McKeown, but then again they aren't girls, so.... <g> If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Hades (oo that sounded bad), the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Sensitivity (awww Hades is a softy!). |
Jupiter is the guardian deity for the better part of December. His sign is that of Centaurus (you know the half horse half guy dude). If your daughter is lucky enough to meet Jupiter, the deity will bestow upon your daughter extra Faith. <<Web Mistress starts to sign, "Oh you gotta have faith faith faith!">> |
Rivals
The young women your daughter meets once she
turns 14 years of age.
This young thing goes by the name Wendy Lachesis. If your daughter has loads of magical
experience she will meet up with Wendy.
Even though Wendy is very polite (more than the other three) she will
still challenge your daughter to the combat tournament to see whose the
better “Magician Girl”. |
This young lady is Marthia (are you sitting down for this?)
Shareware. If your daughter
spends most of her time cooking and raising her housework reputation she will
meet up with her. You will also
see her at the dance contest, but I don’t think she has even won. |
Misc.
These are just some of the people
your daughter will bump into during your game. I won’t post everyone as I think you need a few twist and
turns along the way… Coming soon!
Pictures from the Princes Maker 1, 2, 3 et al games belong to Gainax, Microcabin, Ninelives, and Takami Akai.
