My Gundam Wing Page In the year after Colony 195, (which basically means in the future on a planet similar to Earth but not quite the same, as is the case in most animated series) the United Earth Sphere Alliance takes control of many space colonies by force. Mobile Suits (big robots that people fight in) are the main military power. The colonies decide to retaliate and send 5 gundams (bigger and MUCH more powerful mobile suits made out of the almost indestructible and incredibly powerful metal known as gundanium alloy) to Earth. The gundam's mission is to destroy the organization known as OZ, which plans on taking over the world.
