"Operation Barbarossa " . Although the diorama built last year, I took photos just
a few days ago. All the items used in the diorama were came from DML. I
just love to see a whole company of soldiers matching on their way so I
built it as we can see in some WWII books that German rushed into
Russian in the early stage of war. I used 2 boxes 6105(total 8 figures)
and 1 box 6109
( total 9 figures ) to form the matching group. Only 4 figures built out
of box, the others just use their lower half of the body while the upper
half came from various boxes of other DML German soldiers, it took some
time to find out all the bare head or head with cap from DML. The assault
gun were III C and D, and the crew also came from DML's tank crew with
modification as well as the high rank officers at the corner. The horse
rider was add at the very last minute to fill the empty space.
