- JC Penney maternity catalog request Maternity clothes that are reasonably-priced and run true-to-size, for career or casual wear.
- Anna Cris Maternity Nice selection of high quality and fashion forward maternity clothes from Japanese Weekend®, Belly Basics® and Duet Designs®, as well as their own clothing line.
- Maternity Mall Comprehensive online source for all your maternity needs. Features clothing from Mimi Maternity, A Pea In The Pod and more.
- Hindy's the Maternity Source A hip maternity store in Brooklyn, NY with online shopping
- Motherhood Maternity career or casual wear clothing, including good selection of plus-sizes and nursing wear. A word of caution, many of their clothes do not run true-to-size so some expensive and annoying returns might be necessary.
- Japanese Weekend Stylish and comfortable maternity wear, but not inexpensive.
- Fit for Two Maternity Smaller collection of maternity and nursing clothing under their own label. Clothes tend to be casual, most would probably not be appropriate for business.
- Baby Becoming
High quality and fairly priced maternity and nursing clothes for the plus-sized woman. Sizes run from 16/18 - 36/40. Maternity underwear is available in larger sizes than commonly found elsewhere, though it seems to run a little small.
- Jake 'n' Me Not all maternity but also has baby clothes. Some plus sizes.
- Maternity 4 Less
Casual wear for pregnant and nursing mothers.
- Bravado Maternity/nursing bras and underwear. Their nursing bras are available in 3 styles & 5 colors/prints. The bras are 92% cotton, 8% spandex and feature easy to open and close snap-down cups and adjustable shoulder straps. They are easy to pull-on, and have a sports back bra with wide under-elastic for extra support. When I was pregnant with my first son, these were the only maternity/nursing bras that I found really comfortable and offered good support (I went from a pre-pregnancy B cup to a D cup while pregnant/nursing). My lactation consultant recommended them and I've noticed that many women on the BabyCenter Bulletin Boards swear by them as well. Prices range from $29.00 - $31.00 and sizes go up to an F-G cup
- Abracadabra Momshop Consistently excellent and inexpensive (check out the $10. cotton nursing bras!), but they do seem to often be out of stock on some items. At least they are upfront about this on their web page.

Human chorionic gonadotropin, or hCG, is the main hormone associated with early pregnancy, and more importantly, the one that all pregnancy kits check for to give you that magic ++! Many women, especially those with a history of molar pregnancies or miscarriages, have their hCG levels monitored carefully during the first weeks of their pregnancies to make sure things are progressing normally. In addition, high hCG levels can give an early indication of a multiple pregnancy.
