Ku-Band Spectrum Analyzer Plots
Until I get a chance to play around with a Ku-Truck for a day,
here are some pictures taken last fall by some colleagues. The time was
approximately 2:00p.m. (E)
These pictures are courtesy of Andy Rothschadl of SureShot Transmissions and Steve
Sontag of Relay House. They were taken last fall and Steve sent me a message with
the comments on changes. I have also posted new plot diagrams purloined from Loral

at 12020H. It is 20MHz wide |

G Star 4 has changed. The large hump has moved to the right of the
signal on the right, and there are now two small humps on the right. |

Satcom K2 has its ID at 12112.5V

Steve comments - "SBS 4, I couldn't find it, NBC moved off it to
K2." |

According to Steve, SBS 5 does not appear to be there anymore, he believes
it was replaced by Galaxy XR. There is a whole lot of digital traffic up there on
the Horizontal pole of the satellite in that position. |

Telstar 6 has a taller, more rounded signal from 12160V to 12190V, the
telemetry beacon is still at 12200V. |
