This battle was started
when the Rebels rescued they comrades and destroyed Prince Xizor's Castle
was destroyed by a Thermal Detonator, Xizor made to his Skyhook and ordered
the destruction of the fleeing Rebels, this proved to be his final mistake.
Xizor's Navy Commander underestimated the Rebel's abilities by this time
Xizor's Forces had formed a loose hemisphere around the Rebel ships making
escape impossible. There was large amounts of Civilian freighter and passenger
ships going to or coming from Coruscant that were tried to get out of the
way. Xizor's Navy with no regard to the civilians and caused the disabling
of a passenger liner while the Rebels were using the civilian ships as
shields to protect themselves. At this point Rogue Squadron arrived into
the fight, which improved the Rebels odds slightly. Xizor's Navy had been
deployed so that only the corvettes and the fighters were engaging the
Rebels, so if the Rebels escaped the net, there would be frigates standing
by to take them out. Xizor's pilot were only so-so pilots which resulted
in many of them being cut down by the Rebels, even so the Rebels were losing
the battle. With in a few minutes the SSD Executer got around Coruscant,
deployed aleast 12 TIE Fighters, where they engaged Xizor's Navy causing
a panic with its commander. Lord Vader contacted Xizor on his Skyhook,
where Lord Darth Vader demanded his surrender in 2 standard minutes or
he would destroy Xizor's Skyhook with Xizor still on it, even if it meant
that he had to risk the Emperor's displeasure. The TIE Fighters were concentrating
on Xizor's ships while occasionally firing on the Rebel's X-Wings. Soon
after the commander of Xizor's Navy made a frantic call to Prince Xizor
for permission to surrender to the Imperial Navy, since they were outnumbered
and being slaughtered at the time. The commander never got the chance to
surrender, his ship was destroyed by TIE Fighters, after that the SSD Executer
opened up on the Falleen's Fist shattering is to a large debris field where
the Rebels used it to escape the battle however the YT-2400 got to close
to a piece of debris and disappeared in a flash of light. After that the
Rebels fled to a secret Rebel base.
