My Favorite Letter
performed by the Anything Muppets
Written by Jeffrey Moss
Cowboy #1: Now that we bought an "O", here's a letter you can have for free.
Cowboy #2: What's that?
Cowboy #1: The letter "P". My favorite letter.
Cowboy #2: Oh yeah? Why?
Cowboy #1: 'Cause of all the great food that begins with the letter "P".
(sung):There's peanuts, pears and popcorn.
There's pickles, peppers, peas.
There's pineapples and peaches,
and potatoes if you please.
There's pizza, pie, there's pancakes
and pudding as a treat. Puh-puh-puh-puh.
P is my favorite letter,
'Cause of all those foods to eat.
Puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh
puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh.
Cowboy #2: Well, I like the letter "P" too, 'cause all the animals in this neighborhood begin with the letter "P".
Like porcupines and pigeons
And a "purr" in a pussycat
A panda and a parrot
And a pony you can pat
There's platypuses and penguins
A pig and a parakeet, puh-puh-puh-puh
"P" is my favorite letter
'Cause of the animals that I meet
Cowboys #1 and 2: puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh
Puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh
Cowboy #3: I love the letter "P", because the names of my friends all begin with the letter "P".
(sung)
Well, there's Paula, Paul, and Percy.
There's Peggy and there's Pearl.
There's Patrick, that's a boy's name.
There's Pamilla, that's a girl.
There's Pamela and Penny.
There's Patty and there's Pete. Puh-puh-puh-puh.
"P" is my favorite letter
'Cause of the kids living on my street.
All: Puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh
Puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh
