Elmo: Elmo need box to sit on to type! Oscar, do you know who took Elmo's box?
Oscar: Okay, I'll give you a hint. Whoever took your box is shaggy.
Elmo (after thinking a minute): Barkley! Barkley took box!
Oscar: No, no, not that fleabag.
Elmo (after thinking some more): Snufflepupagus! Snufflepupagus took box!
Oscar: No, no, not that fuzzball. I'll give you another hint. Whoever took your box is shaggy and green.
Elmo (after doing some more thinking): Kermit the Frog! Kermit the Frog took box!
Oscar: No, no, no. Kermit the Frog's green, but is he shaggy? No.
Elmo: Oh, you right. Elmo make mistake.
Oscar: Look, I'll give you another hint. Whoever took your box is shaggy, green, and sitting on it.
Elmo: Shaggy, green, and sitting on ...?
(An idea suddenly dawns on him, and a look downward confirms it's the right one.)
Oscar! Give back Elmo's box!
(He swipes the box from underneath Oscar, who falls down with a crash and exits with a groan.
Then Elmo sits on the box and types the letters and numbers of the day, whatever they were, on a typewriter.)
